 Sin Sisters perform at 7pm

The artists:

Isabella Melo is a local artist living in Santa Cruz for the last 4 years. She has been painting the passionate feminine and her sensual essence for ten years. She enjoys using oil on canvas, as she finds it the best medium for capturing the woman’s soft & fluid essence. “My hope and intention in painting is to invoke the feminine energy within all of us and inspire the  energy of freedom, connection,  and desire.”

Lynn “Lynnix” Elishaw, describes herself as a space cadet, a teacher of English language arts, an art teacher at a Montessori school, a meditation teacher, a poet/actor/singer, playing a wee bit on guitar and piano, a caretaker of her father for 20 years (he had quintuple bypasses in 1997 and strokes beyond number, and now partially blind) …This man was her first art teacher.

“I paint Yin within and without. Mmmhmm yes. “www.paintingintongues.com

The performers:

Cyanide Cyn is the producer of Sin Sisters Burlesque. She has been bringing Sin and Salvation to the Catalyst Club, at her monthly show, for over 6 years and regularly performs throughout the Bay Area and beyond. Cyanide Cyn is well known for her boundary pushing acts, including acts about kink and religion. You can see her every second Saturday with Sin Sisters Burlesque at Kuumbwa Jazz. Their next show is September 9th. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.

Babraham Lincoln is a Santa Cruz native and an original Sin Sister. Our smallest national treasure has graced stages both here and abroad, and will be competing for the crown at the 2017 Humboldt Burlesque Festival. She is also a regular on the musical theatre stage, most recently playing Frau Blucher in MCT’s production of Young Frankenstein. As the Gettysburg Undress, she will delight you with her brand of classic and comedic, silly and sultry.

Mad Moxi is a burlesque enthusiast and performer based out of Santa Cruz, CA. With a playful panache and just a pinch of mischief, she’s shimmied her way around the Bay Area and guest starred on the Sin Sisters stage.

Seraphina Sura is a Santa Cruz based performer.
