Conner James Quinto is a Photographer from Santa Cruz, California. He studied photography at Cabrillo College and UCSC where he started out in the darkroom developing pictures the old-fashioned way, before transferring that knowledge into the digital realm. Conner specializes in Landscape and Macro photography, working in the real and the abstract.
Conner earned a degree in Film and Digital Media from UC Santa Cruz and also works as a Filmmaker, producing short commercials and narratives.Conner loves the Santa Cruz area and all it has to offer outdoors. He hikes, bikes, camps, and loves spending time near the ocean. He enjoys rock climbing but is more of a rock scrambler.
Conner is currently an emerging artist in Santa Cruz county, although he did have a photo that won Best in Show at Santa Cruz County Fair in high school as well as winning a ribbon in the juried show high school students at the Art League. This last year, Conner has been sharing his photographic work with the public as a selected artist for Open Studios with the Cultural Council, becoming a featured artist at the Scotts Valley Artisans Gallery, selling work at the Scotts Valley Art and Wine Festival, and currently gearing up to show his work (including his latest panoramas) at his second Open Studios this October.
