I am an abstract painter with roots in ceramic sculpture; I currently work in oil and cold wax.

Inspiration for my work comes from my everyday life, memories, emotions as well as my environment. My creative process is usually sparked by an observation, a question, a curiosity which leads me to explore the possibilities with my tools and materials on the canvas. I enjoy the tactile experience of applying color in many layers to produce depth, and history. Line, shape and texture feature prominently in my work.

I get great fulfillment from the act of creating, and a unique satisfaction in sharing my work and welcoming viewers into my creative process.
