EunKyung Lee Otte has lived in Santa Cruz county for 30 years. She is the founder of the Santa Cruz Korean Art Gallery, located at #114 in the Santa Cruz Tannery Art Center, as well as the Santa Cruz Korean Center.

EunKyung is a Korean traditional rice paper artist. She studied traditional rice paper art both in Seoul and in JeonJu, her ancestral town in South Korea. She has exhibited her work at Korean cultural events in Los Angeles as well as at UCSC KASA's cultural events. Her work is on display at the Santa Cruz tannery art center studio 114.

Her work uses authentic Korean traditional heritage art techniques to create unique art. This results in handmade Korean rice paper dolls (called 닥종이 : dak jongi Inhyung ) Korean Calligraphy, rice paper wall hangings, traditional Korean baby shoes and more.

EunKyung in interested in preserving and explaining Korean culture, and she hosts various events involving Korean culture. The first birthday of a Korean baby is a very special event, and EunKyung hosts traditional first birthday parties for parents and babies. She also works with UCSC Korean-American students who are interested in wearing and modeling traditional Korean clothing.
