Artists

I'm obsessed with color, texture and combining mediums in my art. Through, painting, poetry and sewing I explore self expression. I'm awed by nature and faces, both past and present. I paint and sew and write by inspiration. I find art is a way to connect and is a healing journey as well.

I have worked as a costume designer for 13 years, as well as being a participant in the 2017 fashionART Santa Cruz. This past year I took up painting and collaging. My work includes both paintings and healing dolls made from watercolor art sewn into dolls dressed in clothing that reflects the the persons essence! My background and education are in creative writing both in poetry, short stories and screenwriting.
