I love the play of light and the effects I can achieve using transparent watercolor. My paintings are called not so still lifes, because I like the busy-ness that can be achieved in a still life. I love painting images from nature, and old rusty cars too. I have participated in Open Studios for many years. My images were also featured on cards sold nation wide by Trader Joe's Markets. I was a Special Education teacher for 35 years, and also taught art at the elementary school level.
