Painting

Conner Bouch, AKA Tie Dye Kid, was born into a family full of artists and has been doing art of every kind from for as long as he can remember. In high school he fell in love with ceramic pottery and sculpture and was given an honor award in ceramics both his junior and senior years. After high school he started a company making and selling custom tie dye products in stores around Corralitos and Freedom.

Utilizing his experience selling tie dye shirts he later created a t-shirt brand using the name Tie Dye Kid (or TDK) in which he screen printed his abstract, hand drawn, pictures of human faces with striking rows of smiling teeth as the focal point onto clothing. Every screen, photo negative, and print was always created from scratch by the Kid himself.

His most recent art obsession, and also the technique that he will be showcasing, is abstract acrylic fluid art. Taking inspiration from fluid art reels on Instagram he has created his own unique style that exemplifies his investigations into color combination in both his tie dye art as well as his abstract linework faces (which are often drawn using contrasting colors in order to make the features of the faces stand out).

You can find all of his latest work on his online gallery and website tiedyekidcreations.com. As of now, only his abstract acrylic paintings are available but who knows what products may appear in the gallery as this artist continues to progress and grow.
