Don Fritz, a child at heart, has a love for the popular culture elements of cute, campy and kitch. Images of cowboys, wagon wheels, rubber ducks and clowns abound in his mixed media works. The artwork is the result of a multitude of symbolic connections, each piece telling a story in a slightly twisted fairytale. The viewer can make their own connections amongst the images and formulate a unique interpretation.
