An exhibit of ceramic plant life created by Cabrillo College students, faculty, and staff. Accompanied by the paintings of artist, Amy West.
Get ready to be awed by the amazing ceramic art pieces created by the talented students of Cabrillo College. These students have been mentored by inspirational instructor, Gail Ritchie Bobeda. Each spring, intermediate ceramic students create a theme-based collaborative project to exhibit outdoors at the California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic Art (CCACA) in Davis. This year’s theme was a “Plant Sale” and the exhibit includes a sampling of the works created for that show.
Complimenting the sculptural pieces, are recent paintings from Amy West, a renowned landscape architect and artist working in acrylic and watercolor. Amy’s work celebrates the interface of nature, seasonality and artful creative expression. Instagram @amywestdraws
