Liz Talley (b.1990) is a digital illustrator and artist from south county Santa Cruz, CA.
After spending a decade away from California’s coast living and traveling in places ranging from the Pacific Northwest to sailing through the Bahamas to living in a Rhode Island arts non-profit to eventually studying fine art in Nova Scotia, she eventually returned back to California in an effort to reconnect with the area that was home to several generations within her family. Her art practice (“Nice Folk”) explores the concepts of commitment, intuition, and personal mythology, and manifests as an ode to coming home to one’s own sensibility.
Her work has been shown in the United States, Canada, and overseas and has been featured in various publications – the most notable being Noisey of Vice. She holds an Interdisciplinary BFA (2017) from NSCAD University in Halifax, NS and currently lives and works in Corralitos.
