The 4th Annual Live Oak Jack Rabbit art, athletic, music, and food festival will take place on 4/26 at Shoreline Middle School! Event participants and the LOJR panel of judges will select 12 student artists for recognition from Del Mar Elementary, Green Acres Elementary, Live Oak Elementary, Shoreline Middle School, Tierra Pacifica, and Ocean Alternative student art submissions. The Live Oak Education Foundation will award certificates at the event, and we’ll celebrate again at the First Friday mixer at Palace on Friday, May 2.

During this First Friday celebration, we’ll be gathering to discuss the creative process, engage with collaborative hands-on art activities, award $20 Palace Art & Office Supply gift cards, and provide official recognition certificates from the CA State Assembly!

The selected 12 student art pieces are prepared by York Framing Gallery for display during the month of May at Palace.

A huge thank you to all of those who have participated and supported the event again this year. The Live Oak Education Foundation directs all fundraising from the event towards supporting LOSD TK-8th arts programs – but another important aspect is creating a fun community event, and we welcome your involvement!
