This event is an immersive experience with Meditative Minimalist Landscape Paintings. You will have a chance to sit in front of your chosen meditative painting and use the painting as an anchor of focus to start or to have eyes open throughout your meditative experience. A series of paintings will be placed throughout the main meditation hall of Insight Santa Cruz Meditation Center with meditation cushions/chairs in front of them while Tibetan bell music will be playing softly in the background. This is a "come and go event", so feel free to arrive and stay for any length of time during the event.

These paintings were created to facilitate meditation and expansion of awareness for the viewer. All were painted by Shane Hill from his practice experience on long meditation retreats. You can have a sneak preview of them on-line at www.shanehillart.com. Feel free to attend one or both days: Fri Nov 3rd 4pm-9pm and/or Sat Nov4th 12noon-6pm. There will be Fine Art Giclee Prints and Greeting Cards of the images available for sale as well. 20% of all proceeds will go to Insight Santa Cruz to help support the center.
