David’s “Sobriety Test” explores the complexities of emotional, spiritual, and physical states. Through four distinct bodies of work, he challenges conventional notions of art and invites viewers to discover the unexpected. The hallmark of a sobriety test is that one must walk in a straight line. In David's studio activity, he does not. The exhibition Sobriety Test is comprised of four bodies of work: New Physics; The Fragrance Bottle; Medieval Shit; and The Decorative Strategy.
