We recently connected with Kirby Scudder, one of the original founders of First Friday and an all around legend in the Santa Cruz art scene, about the inspiration, creativity and passion behind First Friday and how it became one of the most popular art events in Santa Cruz County. 🤩

Inspired by emerging artists and the roots of First Friday, we are excited to partner with Kirby and @radiusgallery to present our 20th Anniversary Exhibit, “Changing Spaces” on June 7. SAVE THE DATE and come celebrate 20 years with us! ❤️

Through Our Eyes 👁️ the current exhibition at R.Blitzer Gallery. We loved this show of gorgeous photography - from the Escher-like black and whites of Michael Singer to the haunting shots of the CZU fire aftermath from Larry Herzberg. 🖤

This exhibit features the work of the Pixel Printers of Santa Cruz, a collective of photographers including: Kevin Osborn, Larry Herzberg, Robert Mahrer, Annelies de Kater, Michael Singer, Kathy Edwards, Mark Overgaard, Keith Munger.

We also totally fell in love with the watercolors from featured gallery artist Isobel George! 😍

The exhibit runs through February 24. Gallery hours: Thursday-Sunday 1-4pm or by appointment. @rblitzergallery
