Photography has long been a creative outlet for me. I've always loved alternative processes because they often yield prints that are truly one-of-a-kind.

This set of prints were created using a Cyanotype process. Cyanotype (Sun Printing) is a photographic process where light sensitive solution is applied to water color paper. Natural plant material is positioned on the paper and then exposed to sunlight. The print is then rinsed, resulting in prussion blue toned images.

These are wildflowers I recently collected on a road trip trough Oregon, Idaho and Wyoming. They are double matted with a 4x6 opening on an 8x10 mat board. Two slim pieces of wood are adhered to the back of the mat board so the artwork floats away from the wall. (No glass frame).
