Spotlight on ART! ✨ One of Santa Cruz’s newest

Spotlight on ART! ✨ One of Santa Cruz’s newest public art installations, “Dancing Waters” designed by local artist Maha Taitano and directed by Kathleen Crocetti (Community Arts & Empowerment) was unveiled on the River Front parking garage in August.

The 480 sq ft mosaic is a beautiful portrayal of water culture in Santa Cruz and pays homage to our Pacific Islander & Ohlone roots. 🌊🏄🏽‍♀️🐟

The project funded by the CARD (City Arts Recovery Design) Program sought to empower and uplift BIPOC artists in the community.
