Passionate and spirited, Heidi is a local artist who uses watercolors, acrylic and mixed media to create her colorful, playful florals and botanical paintings. She paints from life, from memory, and from her imagination. Heidi combines watercolor, ink, collage and stencil to create mixed media pieces that are fresh, lively, and offer her unique perspective on traditional floral portraits. Commissions and pet portraits also hold a special place in her heart. She teaches watercolor classes and popular art workshops throughout the county and at her private studio Heidi Michelle Art Studio. Heidi is a regular Open Studios artist, has shared her work at gallery exhibitions and frequent First Fridays. Venues include R. Blitzer Gallery, Santa Cruz Art League, Botanic and Luxe, and throughout Santa Cruz County.
