Visual art is music for our eyes. It can make us feel a complete breadth of human emotions. Like music, it has color, tone, movement, and mood. When I view the world through my camera, I look for the melody in landscapes, urban scenes, botanicals, people. I also look for symbolism in color, shape, and composition. My goal is to have those fractions of a second elicit emotions that make our hearts sing.
