Em is a fantasy artist and figure illustrator with an obsession for magic, art nouveau, and using as much color as possible. After breaking up with the color gray in 2014 and the concept of working in a cubicle in 2019, art became a full-color, full-time adventure. Despite the global challenges that came with that, in 2021 they turned their art into a weaving for the first time, and since then textiles and surface design have been braided into their body of work.

They illustrate by commission in both the commercial and fine art spaces, and own a small business - 3rd Eye Textile Art - that peddles jacquard weavings of select pieces as tapestry blankets. Constantly on the hunt for new myths and legends to be inspired by, you can often find them up the mountain, in the trees, in Bonny Doon.
