Visual art is music for our eyes. It can make us feel empathy, wonder, happiness, love, sadness, and all the other emotions available to humans. And like music, it has color, tone, movement, mood, and much more.

When I view the world through my camera, I look for the way it makes me feel. I look for the melody. Throughout my life, I have captured an entire world of images. But only a few possess the ability to make my soul sing. These are the few I present to the world—primarily landscapes, urban scenes, botanicals, clouds – anything with personality.

I also love to find people in their environments, unaware of the camera, deep into their thoughts or their work. For me, an ideal work has a bit of symbolism by way of color, shape, or composition. I hope these symbols elicit particular emotions for the viewer. Maybe you will sense the visual music, too.
